Yana Kuchkarova is from Namangan, Uzbekistan. She received her bachelor's degree in English and master's degree in English literature from Namangan State University. She has been a senior English teacher in the English philology department since January 2020. She has served as a teacher trainer since 2013, organizing and presenting different workshops for university teachers in the region. She is currently responsible for organizing extracurricular activities for the students in her department. 

As a Core Teacher Trainer, she is looking forward to working with teachers from different educational establishments around the country and the US to learn about student engagement, assessment, and student and teacher autonomy.
