Uktam Berdiev is from the village of Madaniyat in the Yakkabag district of the Kashkadarya region. From 1999 until 2003 he studied at Uzbek State University of World Languages and obtained a degree in Philology in English and Arabic. He has been teaching at School #12 since 2003. He worked as a class leader from 2008 to 2014 and as a psychologist from 2014 to 2017. During these years he directed the hand-to-hand combat sport club. He also teaches children to play chess. As a Regional Peer Mentor-Teacher, he is looking forward to enlarging his knowledge and improving his career.
